T.F. Byrne & Co., Inc. was founded in 1974 by Thomas and Mary Frances Byrne, with a strong commitment to keeping the business a family owned and operated entity.

In keeping with the family commitment, their daughter Bonnie J. Fitzgerald, has been running the family business since 1993. Bonnie also has several of her family members working as part of the T.F. Byrne Sales Team. Her sister, Patti Byrne, is the manager of the adult community division at ERA Byrne Realty.

Bonnie J. Fitzgerald is a member of the Ocean County Board of Realtors, as well as the New Jersey Association of Realtors. In 1999, Bonnie was honored to be chosen out of 35,000 Realtor members as the New Jersey Realtor of the Year, for her outstanding contributions to the Real Estate Industry and the community in general. Bonnie was President for the NJ Association of Realtors in 2006.
